Welcome to the world of kids!
At Calvary Chapel, we take ministering
to our kids very seriously. That is why we take the time to invest so
much in our kids, training them at a young age in biblical principles
and a life-long devotion to God.
The kids are dismissed during the sermon time for two reasons: First
of all, we have found that parents can learn more if they don’t have
to worry that their kids are fidgeting, or making too much noise. Secondly,
our sermons are geared mainly for adults, and we don’t want our kids
to get bored. If they get bored while they are young, when they grow
up they will equate serving God and attending church with boredom. And
serving and worshiping God is far from being boring.
Our Children's Ministry ministers to kids from cradle to high school.
We have divided them by the following ages:
- Nursery
(Age 0-3)
- Sunday School:
Three to Five year-olds
- First
through Fourth Grades
- Fifth and
Sixth Grades
- Seventh, Eighth
and Ninth Grades
- High School
