Expository
(verse by verse) Sermons that are Relevant
You don't have to be bored listening to
endless messages that don't seem to relate to your life! Each message
is about 45 minutes and they are within the context of what is written
in the particular passage of the book of the Bible that is being taught.
The messages always lead us to a point of challenge to make a commitment
to the lordship of Jesus Christ, and to live our lives in accordance
with God‘s Word.
If you are going to go through the effort of coming, we are committed
to making the sermon relevant, and use these visual aids to accomplish
that...
- Overhead Projected
Presentations to help you follow the messages
- Humor (yes it
is okay to laugh in church)
- The sermons
are posted in written form here at this web site so you can refresh
and review what was said. (We plan to offer them in down-loadable
audio files too.)
A
Refreshing Music and Worship Experience
Our
exciting worship band leads us in the worship of God through contemporary
praise and worship songs, and occasionally with a favorite hymn mixed
in.
- The words are
clearly displayed overhead, so you don't have to fumble around looking
for the right page in a book.
A
Warm Smile and Friendly Greeting
We
will greet you warmly when you visit.
You count! You matter! And God has a great exciting plan for your life!
- When you visit,
we will not ask you for money or to sign up for anything! We care
more about who are you as a person.
Responsible
Children's Ministries
(Click for details)
- Our children's
and nursery workers are trained to offer your children creative Bible
instruction.
We
are not concerned about how you dress
Sometimes
we are asked "What do I wear and what will you expect from
me?"
- Wear what you
feel comfortable in! Most of our people dress casual!
- Come as you are.
We won't make you wear a visitor badge or stand up and sing a solo.
We want you to remain as anonymous as you'd like, but we encourage
you to visit Calvary Chapel several weeks to get a good feel of all
we offer to you and your family.
