We believe
To help keep us on track with our mission at Calvary Chapel of Aiken...
  1. We believe that God is worthy to be worshiped. Therefore, we will assemble to glorify Him through singing both traditional and contemporary songs, giving of our tithes & offerings, and the offering of our daily lives.
  2. We believe that the Bible is the standard for our lives. Therefore, it will be taught faithfully through both doctrinal and relevant preaching, we will read, study, meditate upon and live out the commandments and principles found in it.
  3. We believe that God uses prayer to accomplish His will. Therefore, each person is to be a prayer warrior by praying in their prayer closets, in corporate prayer meetings, and whenever the Holy Spirit prompts them to pray.
  4. We believe that families are the strength of a church. Therefore, we will build up the family by training the adults to be better spouses and parents, and will provide Christian education to complement the parental teaching of our children about God.
  5. We believe that God wants His people to mature in their faith. Therefore, we will disciple the body through both small and large groups.
  6. We believe that God has called out individuals to be servant-leaders for the equipping of the saints to do the work of the ministry. Therefore, the servant-leaders will tend the flock through teaching, shepherding, and modeling Christ before the flock.
  7. We believe that God wants us to be part of His redemptive plan for mankind. Therefore, we will witness for the Lord Jesus Christ with our lives and our lips; also, we will pray for, support, and send out missionaries to take the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to lost mankind.
  8. We believe that God has ordained baptism and communion as practices of His church. Therefore, we will baptize believers in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and believers are to eat and drink of the Lord’s Supper until Christ returns.
  9. We believe that all our possessions belong to God. Therefore, we are to be good stewards of all that He has given to us, which includes giving generously and cheerfully of our time, talents, and treasures, to the ministry of Calvary Chapel.
  10. We believe that each believer is a priest and is gifted by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, all believers will be involved in some aspect of a ministry.
